Autumn is one of the busiest times of the year in our little Ukrainian village! 🍂🌽 At 68 and 71, Grandma and Grandpa are still working hard, taking care of their home, and preparing for the colder months ahead. Today, we're gathering walnuts, harvesting corn, and making homemade fruit compote to preserve for winter. Grandma is busy filling jars with the flavors of summer, while Grandpa helps bring in the autumn harvest. For our grandparents, growing and preserving food isn't just a tradition — it's a way of life they've known for many years.
