I breakdown the ingredients in Beyonce's Cecred's Shampoos; the clarifying shampoo and the hydrating shampoo. Is either one worth buying? Check out my video to find out. Timestamp 0:00 - Intro 0:36 - The Product Breakdown Intro 1:27 - Beyonce create a haircare line 2:10 - What is "patent pending bio-fermented keratin?" 4:05 - What is Eye the First Five? 5:30 - Cecred's shampoos intro 6:20 - The clarifying shampoo review 13:30 - The hydrating shampoo review 14:40 - Aha! Cecred's website misleads KEY vs MARKETING ingredients 18:10 - Outro Why to not use both SHAMPOOS in the same WASH DAY How to read an INGREDIENTS' LABEL Ingredients are listed on the back of a product in concentration of highest to lowest. 1st ingredient is usually water, which takes up to 50% to 80% concentration of the product, followed by the other ingredients in descending order of concentration, with the 3 to 5 ingredients taking up the remaining bulk of the product, followed by the remaining 10-15 ingredients having 1% or less concentration and not required to be in any specific order. Certain ingredients perform certain functions and so the concentration of each ingredient may differ and not reflect it's importance., such as preservatives having 1% concentration, but important in preventing bacteria and mold growth. Ingredients are broken down into 3 categories 1. Active - the main ingredients are within the first 3 ingredients, because they make up 80% - 90% of the product's formulation 2. Base ingredients are within the first 5 ingredients, which help with creating the product's consistency and texture, such as the emulsifiers, emollients, thickeners and silicones 3. Aesthetic ingredients are the next 10 - 20 ingredients (excluding the preservatives) that include the ingredients featured on the front label, but will not be supported by the INGREDIENTS' LABEL as having a function in how the product works. These are marketing claims with no merit. Thanks for watching and hopefully you SUBSCRIBE to my channel, NATURALLY ZEE
