Tam Lin 🌘 Scottish Fairy Ballad Reimagined | Dark Celtic Pop Song

Tam Lin — a traditional Scottish supernatural ballad, reimagined as a modern dark Celtic pop song. Known as Child Ballad 39, Tam Lin tells the enchanting story of Janet, a courageous young woman determined to rescue a mysterious knight from the Fairy Queen. On Halloween night, Janet must confront the fairy procession and hold on to Tam Lin as he is transformed into terrifying creatures. Only her courage and determination can break the enchantment. Blending traditional Scottish ballad verses with new lyrics, Celtic-inspired melodies, powerful female and male vocals, driving rhythms and contemporary alternative pop, this reimagining brings an ancient tale of magic, danger and love to life. A dark and emotional Halloween song inspired by Scottish folklore, fairy legends, supernatural transformations and the power of love against enchantment.
