🎺 FREE SHEET MUSIC for all 4 buzzing exercises - https://masterclass.precisionbrass.in... 🔥 Free Masterclass on how to improve your set up - https://yt.precisionbrass.info/webina... ⭐ Testimonials -    • Student Wins/Testimonials   You go for the upper register and the note won't come out, so you blame the horn, the mouthpiece or your tired chops. The trumpet is just the amplifier. If you can't buzz it, you can't play it. In this lesson I show you the one simple buzzing exercise (one note on the mouthpiece is the same note on the trumpet, not a fourth below, not a fifth, not the octave above), how to form, place and breathe so the air moves seamlessly, and why muscle memory does not exist: every clean buzz is a rep. You get the rules that keep buzzing from making you stiff: never more than 10 minutes a day, stop at the last level you buzz clean, and when you can't get higher, two fingers, non-dominant hand, never pull it through your face. Then you play along with me on all four exercises, Siren Slides, Expanding Scales, Pulse Buzz and Buzz, Then Play, with the sheet music on screen. Grab the free sheet music at the top of this description so you can play along. If you can buzz the note on the mouthpiece but it won't come out of the trumpet, that's not a trumpet problem. That's an embouchure problem dressed up as a range problem.
