Can a $7 Amazon 🔪knife actually outperform custom steel with just a few geometry changes? Today on Get Sharp, we’re taking the legendary Kiwi knife and putting it through a professional thinning progression on the BuckTool 2x42.
Most people focus on the apex, but the real secret to high-performance cutting is geometry. We use the Rayzor Edge radius platen and MagnaPeak Ceramic belts to transform this budget blade. To keep things objective, we’re running Edge-on-Up sharpness tests and a 1-inch sweet potato push-cut benchmark. The results were shocking—even for me.
