You've already answered a fake bank call and had no idea. Scammers can put your bank's exact name and number on screen. Once that looks real, you stop questioning the rest. Two Android settings. One rule. Under 2 minutes. On-phone steps: • Phone app → Settings → Caller ID and spam protection — turn it on • Block spam and scam calls (all, or high-risk only) • Messages → Settings → Block numbers and spam — turn on spam protection No real bank will ever ask for your full password or one-time code over the phone.
