Brumbies communicate with each other using a complex system of sounds, gestures and behaviours. Within a band there is a dominance heirarchy; the band stallion is the most dominant and will drive his band before him by lowering his head and neck in a threatening 'snake-neck' posture. In this episode we explore the brumby 'ethogram' (the range of brumby behaviours).
