Land-Rover Series 1 Enthusiasts New Zealand: 2018

Every year since 2011, a group of Land-Rover Series 1 enthusiasts have met up to share their love of the Land-Rover marque. The Series 1 was launched 30th April 1948 and went through several chassis changes and engine upgrades, but remained the Series 1 until the advent of the Land-Rover Series 2 in 1958. In 2011, a Wellington man, Leon Zwetsloot contacted as many people as possible to organise an exclusive Series 1 Land-Rover gathering in the central North Island of New Zealand. This is our latest trip.
