First storm of the season 26th October 2025 - Our First Direct Hit!

After one of the driest springs on memory, storm season finally broke with a bang as the southeasterly change brought this medium-sized monster punching clear through the Ipswich Dome and giving us our first direct hit in 12 years of living here! 10 minutes of marble sized hail reinforced with a late pulse of bantam chicken egg/golf ball sized, and most excitingly, around about the 33 second mark: It's raining mulch! Alleluia, it's raining mulch! And then, as fast as it arrived, it was gone again. Even the sunset was fairly humdrum. Not like the next day! As always, like and subscribe for the updates, and save the playlist to your smart TV or video wall for a fantastic ambient background! -    • View from the Roof   I'm saving up for a new camera!
