Most business owners have a £20 AI subscription and assume it covers the business. It covers one person. That is a different thing, and the gap between the two is where the expensive mistakes live. In this video I go through when a cheap AI tool is genuinely enough, when it stops being enough, and the test I use to decide. Start with the arithmetic. A £20 subscription sounds like the whole AI budget until you write it out. Automation is one tool. Voice is another. Writing and drafting is a third. Each of them sits around the £20 mark on entry pricing, so three of them is £60 a month before anybody has agreed a policy or checked a contract. None of that is wasted money. It is just not one subscription, and it stops being useful to think of it as one. The rule, if you keep one thing. £20 AI is enough when it helps you work. It is not enough when it starts running your business. What was the first AI tool you actually paid for? Put it in the comments. Mine goes further back than most people expect: the first machine learning tool I properly worked with was Elasticsearch. Recently, ChatGPT, like everyone else. Though you have almost certainly been using AI for years without noticing it, in Google Maps and Netflix and everything else. We help businesses adopt AI inside their actual business processes, and we help AI consultants deliver the builds they have sold, across property, charity, food and beverage, manufacturing and professional services. Most of what we build looks like this video. Not a shiny new tool, just a real process taken off somebody's plate, with the controls around it done properly. If any of this is useful, take the scorecard on the website. Fifteen quick questions and it will tell you how ready your business actually is for AI, or book a call and we will go through it properly.
