Your Team Is Already Using AI. You Just Don't Know Which One

ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini. Everyone wants to know which one is best, and that's the wrong question. Here's why. The smartest model changes constantly. Whoever is top of the benchmarks this month may not be next month, and you cannot keep swapping your whole company over every time the leaderboard moves. Unless you're doing something genuinely intricate, all three are already good enough. The one you pick today will be better by the time your team has adopted it. The question that actually matters is: which one will my team actually use? Start with where your team already works. Shadow AI, which nobody talks about. While you're deciding, your staff have already decided. They're using whatever they like, unapproved, and pasting company information into it to write emails and proposals. That's happening in most businesses right now. Picking a tool and making it convenient isn't just an efficiency question, it's how you stop your data walking out through a browser tab. Three questions before you choose. 1. Where does your team already work? Microsoft, Google, or a mix? 2. What job do you actually need it to do? Summarise, write, analyse, research, report? 3. Will they genuinely use it? If not, you've bought shelfware. So stop asking which AI is best. Ask which one fits the way your business already works, because if it doesn't fit, your team will never touch it.
