Thank you to Denise Watson and Rosalind Owen. Denise Watson, Advanced Practice Physiotherapist in Paediatric Orthopaedics working at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. She is responsible for the clubfoot related services. She is also on the Advisory Board of the Global Clubfoot Initiative and has been widely involved in supporting Steps with factsheets, parents guides and videos on lower limb conditions. Rosalind Owen, Executive Director at Global Clubfoot Initiative https://globalclubfoot.com/ Description: Gently hold the baby's knee still Hold the foot by the toes and move it outwards Hold the foot out for a few seconds Do the movements gently - the baby should not be uncomfortable Repeat several times, a few times per day Gentle massage to the foot and leg will also help the child to become used to the foot being touched These movements will work best on a baby whose foot position is corrected or partly corrected
