Evening routine in our African village! Today we transplant cucumber & sukuma wiki seedlings using organic goat manure and cook a simple family dinner.
Welcome back to African family Village Life. In today's video, the whole family comes together for a productive and heartwarming day on the homestead.
We start bright and early by preparing our garden beds. Fred works on pruning the tree branches to let in plenty of sunlight for our crops, while Papa Viola, Mama Viola, and the children (Mariam, Sam, and Hellen) pitch in with the digging. Once the holes are ready, Mama Viola and Fred bring in our pure organic goat manure to enrich the soil before we carefully transplant our fresh cucumber and collard seedlings.
After a long, rewarding day of farming, Mama Viola heads back home to prepare a cozy evening meal. Watch as she brews traditional black African tea and fries up some delicious groundnuts. Papa returns home from the fields, and we all sit down together to share a well-deserved family dinner.
