The Story of Rahab | Stunning Animated Bible Story of Courage and Salvation

Rahab lived inside Jericho, a city facing destruction, when two Israelite spies arrived at her door. While the people around her feared what Israel’s God had done, Rahab made a different choice: she believed, acted on that faith, and risked everything to protect the spies. A scarlet cord became the sign of a promise that would save her household when Jericho’s walls fell. But Rahab’s story did not end with her escape—Scripture would later remember her for her faith and place her in the family line leading to Jesus Christ. 📖 Scripture References: Joshua 2 | Joshua 6 | Hebrews 11:31 | James 2:25 | Matthew 1:5 🎬 Video Chapters: 0:00 Intro 0:49 Israel Approaches the Promised Land — Joshua prepares for Jericho 1:26 Two Spies Enter Jericho — They arrive at Rahab’s house 2:10 Rahab Hides the Spies — A dangerous decision against the king’s command 3:23 Rahab’s Faith — “The Lord your God is God” 5:21 Rahab Asks for Mercy — A promise to save her family 6:04 The Scarlet Cord — The sign that would identify Rahab’s house 7:30 Israel Crosses the Jordan — Jericho’s final days begin 8:20 God’s Plan for Jericho — Israel marches around the city 9:13 The Seventh Day — The walls of Jericho fall 10:08 Rahab and Her Family Are Rescued — The promise is fulfilled 11:30 Rahab Remembered for Her Faith — Hebrews and James reveal her legacy 12:33 From Rahab to Jesus Christ — Her place in the genealogy of Jesus 14:10 Rahab’s Legacy — Faith that moved from belief to action In this story, you’ll see: ▶ Rahab live inside Jericho as Israel approaches the Promised Land ▶ Joshua secretly send two spies to investigate the city ▶ Rahab risk her life by hiding the Israelite spies ▶ Rahab confess that Israel’s God rules in heaven and on earth ▶ The spies promise protection for Rahab and her family ▶ A scarlet cord become the identifying sign of her household ▶ Israel miraculously cross the Jordan River ▶ The Israelites march around Jericho according to God’s instructions ▶ Jericho’s walls fall while Rahab’s household is remembered and rescued ▶ Rahab leave Jericho and live among the people of Israel ▶ Hebrews remember Rahab as an example of faith and James point to her actions ▶ Rahab’s name appear in the genealogy leading to King David and Jesus Christ #rahab #jericho #joshua #biblestories #bibleanimation #animatedbiblestories #biblestory #oldtestament #scarletcord #biblecharacters #biblicalstories #christiananimation #faith #jesuschrist
