6/30/18 Amtrak F59PHI 454 leaves on Southwest Chief #4 and other evening trains

Last Saturday, we made a Saturday evening trip from El Monte to LAUPT to catch the outbound Southwest Chief #4 as that evening, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 454 was assigned out heading for Beech Grove for repairs. The engine may come back but it could also stay over there too as Metra did purchase this engine along with 20 others so it may stay out there until it is time o move it over to Metra operations. Other trains we spotted are Union Pacific, Metrolink, Amtraks, Veterans NPCU 90208 with low levels, Metro Gold Line, and several other trains. Thanks for watching JonRailVideos2018
