Romsdalseggen Ridge: Norway’s Most Spectacular Hike?

Join us on one of Norway’s most spectacular mountain hikes — the legendary Romsdalseggen Ridge. Located near Åndalsnes in Western Norway, this dramatic ridge offers breathtaking views of some of Norway’s most iconic landscapes, including the famous Troll Wall (Trollveggen) and the surrounding peaks of Romsdalen. The hike is a point-to-point adventure starting in Venjesdalen, reached by bus from Åndalsnes. From there, the trail climbs onto the ridge and continues across varied mountain terrain before descending back towards Åndalsnes. A highly recommended detour is the climb to Blånebba, where you are rewarded with an incredible viewpoint overlooking Trollveggen and the surrounding mountains. The entire hike takes around 7 hours depending on pace and stops.
