Rail Chase 2! The House of the Dead on a Rollercoaster

SUPPORT THE CHANNEL :   / videogameesoterica   I have been teasing this series for a very long time...ever since I did the Sega Arcade Racing Retrospective last year...and that's because it took a VERY LONG TIME to make...a thirty episode retrospective on every Sega Model 1, Sega Model 2 and Sega Model 3 arcade game ever made that isnt a racing title! Because Sega is the undisputed (in my opinion) king of retro gaming in arcades whether it be 2D or 3D! Because they have some of the best retro video games! Just don't expect Daytona USA, Scud Race or Sega Rally...as that already happened back in 2023! Check the playlists! But the Sega Model series of arcade boards are filled to the bring with some of the best Sega games of all time...as well as some Sega Hidden Gems! Patreon Thanks: Seth Peterson, John Thompson, Paul Daniel, Porch, Jon Anderson, RayceARoni, Kurangui, Jason Hixon, Alex Tessler, Jonathan Leung, Martin Donlon, Tom Van Deusen, Barabob, Steve Randall, Ahab, K-2, Renaissance 2K, Ivar Wennerholm, Adrien Sebbane, tobemorecrazy, Mike Puelinckx, Tony Escobar, H7, Humanoide70, Ben Parfitt, Holder Schmidt, Tim Lehner, Shad Uttam, Dan L, James Mann, Richard Schneider, Coupon Joe, Sunder Raj, Dorfus the Maple Syrup Man, John Booty and Craig M! Up next: Rail Chase 2! A sequel to the original Rail Chase from Sega! it's The House of the Dead meets Virtua Cop meets Time Crisis...and it's a wild ride...pun very much intended. It's an on rails shooter that came in a gigantic arcade cabinet where you sat in an actual rail car...which we don't have today! But it also serves as inspiration for Magical Truck Adventure from Sega on the Model 3 arcade board! It's a total Sega Hidden gem and a game that should have been ported to the Sega Saturn or Sega Dreamcast! and the best part is you can use the "Model 2 Emulator" to play the arcade original if you don't have an original arcade PCB!
