WHEEL THROWN CLAY PLATE

The video shows a mid-size plate as thrown on a Pacifica electric wheel. The plate is thrown with a medium plastic clay that has a medium size grog in the mix. At the next stage the plate will be stained and carved, allowed to dry, bisque fired, then glazed with a semi-transparent glaze and refired to cone 5+. I will be moving over to my larger plates or platters and mirror frames in the next couple of weeks.
