Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun (Cheung Fun). The hand-made chee cheong fun or rice noodle roll is a popular Cantonese dish from southern China and Hong Kong. It is also found in Singapore and Malaysia, and most commonly consumed during breakfast or as a snack. Mr Eddy (in white T-Shirt) has been making chee cheong fun at Pek Kio Market for almost 9 years. The simple dish is made by steaming rice batter over a cloth (additional ingredients such as Char Siew, Scallops or Prawns may be added upon request). Otherwise, the plain ones are still good. He gives it a finishing touch by adding light soy sauce and chilli to complete your cravings. It was one of the best that I have ever tried and the taste was absolutely amazing!
