Through Colorado’s Endless Wilderness | Continental Divide Trail

High mountains, lingering snow, endless forests and miles of trail through the heart of Colorado. This section of the Continental Divide Trail took me from Gunnison toward Salida through some of the most beautiful—and surprisingly varied—terrain I encountered in Colorado. Here, the Continental Divide Trail and Colorado Trail share the same route, winding through high alpine country, vast forests, exposed ridges and remote campsites far from the noise of everyday life. This isn't a trail guide or a gear review. It's simply an invitation to come along for a few miles and experience what hiking through this part of Colorado actually feels like.
