2026-07-25 RAGBRAI 2026 day 7 pt 4 - Epworth

Epworth was only 4 miles from Farley, but it was as close as we would come to having a meeting town about half-way through the route. So we did stop and get a bite to eat (pizza). Epworth had some interesting things for a small town. Their water tower was a bit hard to see due to the drizzle on the camera lens (1:28). There was a dragon dance at one of the vendors on the arrival into town (2:52). I was not expecting to see that. The town's name is Epworth, so of course there is a nice Methodist church in the center of it (3:10). We ended up getting pizza from the Pizza Factory, which is a local business in Epworth. It was pretty good. When we left it was still drizzly out but it was a pretty ride nevertheless. There was an old railroad bridge we went under (10:40) [CN Old US-20 Bridge no.4]. I didn't appreciate it at the moment, but Youtube highlighted it, so I guess it knows better than I do. I left the camera running until after we had passed the Craft Beer stop, which was sparsely attended under the circumstances.
