This Happened Beneath an Appalachian Mountain River

I spent the day exploring beneath the surface of a clear Appalachian mountain river, following schools of shiners, checking out submerged trees, and seeing how different fish use the current and underwater structure. But the best part happened when I finally stopped moving. I stayed in one spot and let the river settle around me. Before long, fish started coming in from every direction until I was basically sitting in the middle of an underwater fish party. That final stretch ended up being one of my favorite underwater moments I've captured so far. More Appalachian rivers, creeks, wildlife, and underwater adventures coming soon. #AppalachianMountains #Underwater #FreshwaterFish #RiverExploration #Wildlife
