Spotting at Philadelphia International Airport Philadelphia International Airport Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Saturday October 25, 2014 This video covers an all-day spotting trip at Philadelphia International Airport, which was utilizing the 27s once again. Video shot here is primarily arrivals to Runway 27R, shot between 12:35 PM and 6:15 PM, with some departures from 27L thrown into the video as well. Again, there are some gems in this video, both in terms of specials and in terms of aircraft that are going to be disappearing from the skies over PHL and aircraft that are getting repainted into American markings at a medium pace. As time goes on, more US Airways and US Airways Express aircraft are going to be seen in American and American Eagle markings. I even experimented with a spot I used in the early days of spotting at PHL (like 2004-2007) for 27R arrivals that I think I will utilize in the future. I apologize for the very short black or white blips that may or may not appear in the video, as they are caused by dropped frames.
