Join this real-time drive from Fredrikstad to Oslo, travelling northwest on Rv110 before joining Norway’s major E6 motorway for the journey toward the capital. The drive begins in Fredrikstad, one of the largest cities in southeastern Norway, and follows Riksvei 110 (Rv110) northwest toward Råde. Leaving the city behind, the road passes through a mixture of suburban areas, farmland and forests typical of the Østfold region. Rv110 is the main road connection between Fredrikstad and the E6 at Råde/Karlshus, covering roughly 23 km from the Fredrikstad area to the motorway connection. After reaching Råde, the journey joins the E6 northbound toward Oslo. From here, the drive continues through southeastern Norway past the Rygge and Moss area, surrounded by forests, farmland and gently rolling countryside. The route then crosses from Østfold into the Follo region, continuing north past Vestby and Ås. As Oslo gets closer, the surroundings gradually become more urban and traffic increases along one of Norway’s busiest motorway corridors. The final section follows the E6 into the Oslo metropolitan area, completing the journey in Norway’s capital. Sunny weather with only a few clouds provides excellent visibility throughout the drive, creating a bright and relaxing Scandinavian road-trip atmosphere.
