ኢትዮጵያ ብስራት የሰማችበት ጉባኤ! የአለም ንግድ ድርጅት አባልነትና ብሪክስ! | Ethiopia’s Quest for WTO & BRICS!

በሕንድ ኒው ዴልሂ የተካሄደው 18ኛው የብሪክስ (BRICS) አባልና አጋር ሀገራት ጉባዔ ለኢትዮጵያ ኢኮኖሚያዊና ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ጎዳና አዲስ ታሪካዊ ምዕራፍ የከፈተ አጋጣሚ ሆኖ አልፏል። “ጽናት፣ ፈጠራ፣ ትብብርና ዘላቂነትን መገንባት” በሚል አጠቃላይ መሪ ቃል በተካሄደው በዚህ ታላቅ ጉባዔ ላይ፣ የብሪክስ አባል ሀገራት በጋራ ባወጡት የ45 ገጾችና የ140 ነጥቦች የኒው ዴልሂ የአቋም መግለጫ፣ ኢትዮጵያ ወደ ዓለም ንግድ ድርጅት (WTO) ለመቀላቀል የምታደርገውን የብዙ ዓመታት ጥረት በሙሉ ድምፅ መደገፋቸውን በይፋ አስታውቀዋል። ይህ ድጋፍ ኢትዮጵያ በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ የምታደርገውን ኢኮኖሚያዊ እንቅስቃሴና የዲፕሎማሲ ሚና ከፍ የሚያደርግ በመሆኑ ትልቅ የፖለቲካና የኢኮኖሚ ትርጉም አለው። ይህ ግዙፍ ጥምረት፣ የኢትዮጵያን የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅት አባልነት ጥረት በይፋ መደገፉ የአገሪቱን ዓለም አቀፍ ተቀባይነት በእጅጉ ያጎለብተዋል። የጉባዔው ተሳታፊዎች በጋራ ባወጡት መግለጫ “በዓለም ንግድ ድርጅት ማዕከልነት ላይ የተመሠረተ ሕጋዊ፣ ክፍት፣ ግልጽ፣ ፍትሐዊ፣ አድልዎ የሌለበትና ሁሉንም አሳታፊ የሆነ የብዙ ወገን የንግድ ሥርዓትን እንደገና እናረጋግጣለን” በማለት ገልጸው፣ አክለውም “ኢትዮጵያን ጨምሮ በማደግ ላይ ያሉ ሀገራት የዓለም ንግድ ድርጅት አባል ለመሆን የሚያደርጉትን ጥረትና ሂደት እንደግፋለን” ሲሉ የጽኑ አቋማቸውን መግለጫ አውጥተዋል። በእለቱ የገበያ ቢዝነስ ልዩ ጥንቅራችንም ለመሆኑ እንዲህ አይነቱ የብሪክስ መግለጫ ኢትዮጵያ የአለም ንግድ ድርጅት አባል ለመሆን ለምታደርገው ጥረት ምን ማለት ነው? ለመሆኑ ኢትዮጵያን ጨምሮ ሀገራት ለምን የአለም ንግድ ድርጅት አባል መሆን ይፈልጋሉ? ለሀገር ኢኮኖሚ ምን ጠቀሜታ አለው? ምንስ ስጋቶች አሉት የሚሉትንና ሌሎች ተያያዥ መሰረታዊ ነጥቦችን እንመለከታለን፡፡ The 18th BRICS Member and Partner Countries Summit, held in New Delhi, India, under the overarching theme "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability", marks a historic milestone opening a new chapter for Ethiopia's economic and diplomatic trajectory. During this landmark summit, the BRICS member nations jointly issued a comprehensive 45-page, 140-point New Delhi Declaration, in which they officially and unanimously backed Ethiopia's multi-year endeavor to accede to the World Trade Organization (WTO). This resounding endorsement carries profound political and economic significance, substantially elevating Ethiopia's international economic footprint and diplomatic standing. This major bloc's official support for Ethiopia's WTO accession bid significantly reinforces the nation's global acceptance. In their joint declaration, the participating leaders stated, "We reaffirm a legal, open, transparent, non-discriminatory, and inclusive multilateral trading system centered on the World Trade Organization," and added, "We support the efforts and processes of developing countries, including Ethiopia, to become members of the WTO," thereby establishing their firm stance.
