"Take a Breath" Nehemiah 6:15-7:4

I’ve come to be aware over the years that I am a driven person. I like to see things accomplished. But I’ve also learned that when we’re so driven to get things done or are overwhelmed by the immensity of the events on our calendars we often miss out on the blessings that God wants us to experience through the journey. As we join our study of Nehemiah, the people of Jerusalem had been working tirelessly, through threats and dangers around the clock, to get the wall rebuilt. It is here that Nehemiah gives an important lesson--the need to take a breath and see all that God has done. I look forward to joining you all this Sunday!
