20 minute at-home workout for starters, and it's upper body injury friendly. If your shoulder, elbow, or wrist is out of commission (or you're just easing back in), this one keeps the focus on your core and lower body so you can still move without aggravating anything.
Who this is for: Anyone getting back into training. If you're healing from an injury, healing comes first, and this lets you stay active while you do. It's also great if you've been out of the gym for a while.
Will this build muscle? It depends. Yes, if you've been out for a while or are brand new to exercise your body will respond to this. But, to building strength and that toned look long-term, you will need to add load and challenge yourself a lot more. Try this for 3–4 weeks to get your body ready, then start building from there.
All you need is a mat. Go at your own pace, take breaks when you need them, and modify anything that doesn't feel right.
