TINU syndrome stands for Tubulointerstitial Nephritis and Uveitis. It is an uncommon inflammatory condition that affects both the kidneys and eyes. 🫘 Kidney involvement Tubulointerstitial nephritis can cause: Rising creatinine White blood cells in the urine Mild proteinuria Sometimes blood in the urine 👁️ Eye involvement Uveitis may cause eye redness, pain, light sensitivity, blurred vision, or floaters. Eye and kidney symptoms may occur at different times. 💊 Treatment Treatment depends on severity.
