LLANRHYSTUD TO ABERAERON - Walking The Wales Coast Path

Hello everyone and welcome to this video of the walk from Llanrhystud to Aberaeron on the Wales Coast Path filmed in July 2025! Starting from where I finished the previous day beside the sign at Pengarreg Caravan Park I follow the lane towards Llanrhystud Beach it was very cloudy and cool on the beach good for walking! The beach at Llanrhystud was hard to walk on with the big stones! After Llanrhystud I go past some limeklins these look handy to shelter in when the weather turns really bad no let up in rain! As I continue the Wales Coast Path heads quickly towards Llansantffraid & the St Ffraid Church which dominates the skyline getting closer to Llansantffraid! Checking the tide times before the walk on Llanon Beach which was good to go I followed the path towards the beach down some metal stairway during the walk on the beach I could see the coastal erosion as the sea must easily make the land crumble away! After Llanon Beach I had a little break it was misty with the clouds so low I was thinking the sun was bound to break though! Continuing on after Llanon Beach I seen more parts of the Wales Coast Path which are crumbling away the path will bound to be more inland in the next few years! Between Llanon Beach & Aberath the sun finally broke though the clouds and in an instant everything looked good again it was like a walk of 2 halves! At Aberath the Wales Coast Path went over the Afon Arth and reached Aberarth Village Hall a charming hall painted in Blue where I had another break! On towards Aberaeron where the walk was steady and the temperatures was getting hotter once at Aberaeron you can see the Sea Front is getting a redevelopment for the coastal defences and work on the Harbour to!
