Are You Ready When He Calls 1

Are You Ready When He Calls? — Larry G. Truitt When someone we love passes away, an empty place remains that words cannot fill. Yet amid our sorrow, one question reaches into every heart: **Are we ready when the Lord calls? This country gospel song reflects on life's brevity, the sorrow of parting, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. It is also a prayer that we will faithfully share the message of salvation with those we love while there is still time. Through faith in the Savior, sorrow is accompanied by the precious assurance that those who die in the Lord rest in His care. “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” — *2 Corinthians 6:2, KJV* May this song bring comfort to the grieving, encourage believers to speak of Christ, and invite every listener to prepare for eternity.
