Omega just redesigned the Speedmaster 38 — again. The new version is more Moonwatch than ever: round subdials, Dot-Over-90 bezel, Moonwatch-style bracelet, and a new no-date Calibre 3332 in the black model. And I actually think it looks pretty good. But underneath the redesign is a much stranger question: *who exactly is this watch for?* In this episode, I look at nearly 40 years of smaller Speedmasters, why Omega keeps reinventing the same idea, the weird subdial spacing, the nearly 15mm case thickness, automatic vs. manual winding, the Speedmaster Reduced, and why I think Omega may be trying to satisfy too many different customers with one product. We also get into the business side: market research, female watch buyers, product segmentation, R&D investment, and why the safest corporate decision isn't always the most interesting one. The Speedmaster 38 isn't a bad watch. I just think Omega had the resources to make something much better. #Omega #Speedmaster #Watches
