I took a seasonal fire lookout job deep in the West Virginia mountains, expecting long days, cold nights, and nothing but the wind for company. The old watchman left me seven rules before he disappeared down the mountain. Most of them seemed strange. One of them was simple: Never tell it the time. Then the radio started speaking after I had turned it off. It knew my name. It knew my voice. And something began climbing the tower after dark. This is a first-person Appalachian wilderness horror story about an isolated fire lookout, an abandoned tower, and something that has been borrowing from the people who spend the night there for generations. Turn off the lights. Put on your headphones. And whatever you do… don't tell it what time it is. #Creepypasta #HorrorStories #ScaryStories #FireLookout #AppalachianHorror #WildernessHorror #ForestHorror #TrueHorror #ScaryStory #EchoHorrorFiles #ParanormalHorror #NightmareFuel #HorrorNarration
