Trieu Vang's love lights up a new life for Uyen Thu and Tieu Vinh. A new day begins amidst the peaceful mountains and forests. After some rather grueling days of work, today I enjoyed a truly deep sleep in the fresh, quiet mountain air. After a light snack and a pot of my usual tea, I decided to dismantle the electrical panel and light bulb, and retrieve the wiring from a spot I no longer used, so I could install them for Tiểu Vinh and Uyên Thư. It was a long stretch of wire to pull; in many places, vines had tangled around it, and the ties securing it to tree trunks had to be undone section by section. By the time I brought the wiring back to their home, dusk was already falling. Despite the late hour, I made sure to securely install the electrical panel and light bulb so the little house would have light every evening. Afterward, I headed down to the stream to connect the power line. While waiting for my return, Tiểu Vinh busied herself preparing dinner. She boiled some chicken, stir-fried the giblets with green beans, and set out a simple meal for the family. When the lights finally came on, Tiểu Vinh felt more at ease, hoping only for my safe return. I eventually made it back, but Uyên Thư was fast asleep from exhaustion and couldn't wake up for dinner. Tiểu Vinh and I ate first, setting aside a portion for the child. 🙏 Before the meal, we gave thanks to God for a peaceful day, for the food He provided, and for His protection over us in every small detail of our lives. Life in the mountains may still hold many challenges, but with electric light, a hot meal, and people who love and help one another, even a small house becomes a truly warm home. ❤️ Thank you to everyone for your love, support, and for following me on the journeys ahead.
