2026 Egyptian Cup Race 3 -- Full Race Video

n this final race of the Egyptian Cup, Sailing Brothers Kevin and Steve face off against a reduced fleet, as several competitors succumbed to the heat of Carlyle, Illinois in late June.  Achieving the best start of the series, Gadzooks! found the favored end of the line sailing at full speed right at the start gun.  And, although they stayed on what they believed was the favored side of the course, things did not go according to plan.  Nonetheless, they were able to achieve a final Regatta Score that place them in the winners' circle at 5th place--not a bad finish for a couple of guys that are just starting their sailing campaign. Enjoy the beauty of sailboat racing from both the cockpit and the top of the mast in this final race of the series. See where the wind is coming from, and where it is not.  The Flying Scot is a boat of beauty and comfort, and the Class enjoys a vibrant community. f you like this video, subscribe and share.  Interested in learning more about Flying Scot sailing, local fleets, regattas, or becoming a member?
