YEREVAN'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION 2026 | PART 1 OF 2 Welcome to the first episode of our two-part journey through Yerevan's birthday celebrations! In this episode, we explore the city from morning to afternoon, discovering live music, art, Armenian traditions, cheerful crowds, and an unforgettable sky filled with magnificent hot-air balloons. Our adventure begins at Seasons Park, where live music, colorful stalls, and a little coffee break set the mood for a wonderful day. We continue through Martiros Saryan Park, admiring its beautiful open-air art exhibition, before heading toward the famous Cascade for more music, sculptures, and lovely views of Yerevan. At Freedom Square, we catch the orchestra preparing for its performance. Nearby, Swan Lake is full of children's laughter, colorful characters, and creative activities. Northern Avenue brings even more surprises: street art, festive stalls, delicious treats, and the enchanting melodies of women playing the traditional qanun. And then comes one of our favorite moments—Armenian folk dancing! As the musicians play, people gather, learn the steps, and join the celebration. No experience needed, just a little enthusiasm! 💃 But the biggest surprise is still waiting… While heading toward our next destination, we suddenly notice enormous hot-air balloons rising above Yerevan's rooftops. Naturally, our plans change! We follow the colorful balloons toward Republic Square, where the sky turns into something straight out of a fairy tale. With the sunlight, beautiful architecture, and magnificent balloons floating overhead, it's a moment we'll never forget. And the magic doesn't stop there—we even capture the balloons from our own balcony! 🎈 ✨ But the celebrations aren't over yet! In Part 2, we'll return to Yerevan's streets for the evening festivities, climb the Cascade, and experience the spectacular fireworks near Victory Park, along with another beautiful balloon surprise the following morning.
