Yerevan’s birthday celebration continues after dark! 🎆 This is Part 2 of our two-part Erebuni–Yerevan vlog, following the evening festivities—and an unexpected hot air balloon morning. Join us for an evening of dancing fountains, glowing streets, music, and little discoveries around Armenia’s capital. We begin with the beautiful light-and-water show at Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park before following the music into English Park, where a giant illuminated Earth outside the planetarium catches our attention. At Republic Square, lights transform the museum façade, a DJ keeps the crowd moving, and colourful reflections shimmer across the water. We continue along Northern Avenue for more music, dancing, and tempting food, then reach Freedom Square, where the celebration carries on through traditional Armenian circle dancing. Our final destination is the top of Cascade. With the escalators closed, we climb the steps, take a few much-needed breaks, and find our place near the monument above the city. Fifteen chilly minutes later, the sky fills with three unforgettable minutes of fireworks.
