Have you ever thought:
"Why am I dealing with this AGAIN?"
You thought you healed it.
You thought you learned the lesson.
You thought you were past this.
But what if seeing the same pattern again doesn't mean you've failed?
What if you're being refined?
In this episode, I revisit a word that came to me earlier this year: refinement.
Just like an oil refinery repeatedly removes impurities, maybe our growth isn't a one-time process either. Maybe we continually shed the thoughts, behaviors, reactions, and priorities that no longer belong in the version of ourselves we're becoming.
We talk about:
Why the same lessons sometimes keep resurfacing
Getting clear about what is—and isn't—a priority
Trusting your vision when you can't see evidence yet
Making decisions from your future instead of your current emotional chaos
Emotional regulation in real life
Why you have to slow down enough to choose differently
Feeling sadness without allowing it to become a story about failure
Removing the internal voices you no longer need
Becoming intentional about who you're becoming
Creating magnetism by focusing on "What if it DOES work?"
And yes... I also tell you about the completely ridiculous screaming match my family had over laundry. 😂
Because emotional regulation doesn't mean never losing it.
Sometimes it means realizing afterward that everybody needs a timeout, regrouping, and choosing differently next time.

What You'll Take Away
Growth doesn't always look like never experiencing the old pattern again.
Refinement means responding differently when it does.
Priorities require consciously deciding what you're willing to leave undone.
Emotional regulation allows you to feel without letting the emotion run your life.
Your future deserves decisions based on where you're going—not simply how you feel today.
Becoming is one of the most valuable investments you can make.
What you focus on affects the energy you create around your future.
Ready to Go Deeper?
If you're in a season where things are being stripped away, challenged, or brought back to your attention, don't automatically assume you're going backward.
You may be refining.
