WoW Forever looks like it wants to bring back more than old zones and slower leveling. It wants us to commit to the journey again—and I’m wondering whether modern players still want that. I talk about dungeon travel, finding groups, earning rewards, and how much our digital lives have changed since original WoW. I also explain why I want to go into launch as blind as possible, and my concern about whether Blizzard will keep Forever old-school over time. Are you preparing your builds in the beta, or going in blind and figuring things out along the way? This is my take on the announcements and beta information available so far. Details may change before launch.
