Deeping St. Nicholas (Littleworth) Level Crossing, Lincolnshire

Date filmed: Friday the 6th of February 2026 Route: Peterborough to Lincoln Line Between Peterborough (PBO) and Spalding (SPA) Stations Crossing type: Manually Controlled Barrier crossing with Obstacle Detection (MCB-OD) Filming location: A1175 Littleworth Drove, Deeping Saint Nicholas (PE11 3DD) An iconic-feeling crossing in the very long village that's Deeping St. Nicholas. The former signal box still stands after it was taken out of use in 2014. Much of the old goods sheds and station complex of the former Littleworth Station still stands, giving quite an intriguing feel to the location. The third shot isn't my usual style. In actual fact, it was something from years ago in my mind's eye when hopeful for a visit here when I started really travelling for crossings back in 2018. The thumbnail also reflects this. This is a crossing I've always had a soft-spot for.
