2026 GWM Haval Raptor Plus FIRST LOOK The 2026 GWM Haval Raptor Plus, also known in some markets as the Raptor V7 Plus or Menglong Plus, is an upgraded mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV that blends rugged styling with modern family practicality. Its boxy exterior is complemented by a larger body, offering generous interior space with either five or seven seats. Measuring up to 4,912 mm in length with the external rear-mounted spare tire (or 4,792 mm without it), the SUV also features a 2,850 mm wheelbase, a width of 1,950 mm, and a height ranging from 1,886 mm to 1,905 mm, making it well-suited for both urban driving and outdoor adventures. Powering the Haval Raptor Plus is GWM's advanced Hi4 all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid system, which combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 115 kW (154 hp) with dual electric motors. The hybrid setup delivers an impressive combined output of 330 kW (443 hp) and 750 Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5.9 seconds. A Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) ensures smooth power delivery, while multiple battery options ranging from 18.74 kWh to 35.43 kWh provide an all-electric driving range between 80 km and 191 km, depending on the selected configuration. Built with versatility in mind, the Raptor Plus offers 221 mm of ground clearance and a maximum wading depth of 580 mm for enhanced off-road capability. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen running GWM's latest Coffee OS 3.0 infotainment system. Advanced driver-assistance features are provided through the Coffee Pilot suite, which can be paired with an optional roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, multiple cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and radar systems to deliver improved safety, intelligent navigation, and semi-autonomous driving functions.
