On November 1, 2026, a Learjet 60 flying from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas fell from 35,000 feet in about a minute and crashed on Military Trail in Palm Beach County, Florida. All nine people on board were killed. This video rebuilds the flight in 3D using the real FAA air traffic control recording, the weather radar, flight-tracking data, the NTSB's statements, and the views of aviation experts. The NTSB says the left elevator separated before impact. No cause has been determined.
Expert views are opinions, not NTSB findings. The 3D animation is an illustration, not the real aircraft; ice thickness is exaggerated so it can be seen; the cockpit display is driven by values from the radio calls; storm cells on the map are illustrative; the timing of the elevator separation is not known.
In memory of the nine people on board.
