• 180 g toz şeker: Yaklaşık 3/4 su bardağı
• 2 adet yumurta: Oda sıcaklığında
• 315 g un: Yaklaşık 2.5 su bardağı

• ½ çay kaşığı karbonat

Elmalı İç Harç İçin:
• 5 adet elma: Soyulmuş ve dilimlenmiş
• 50 g şeker: Yaklaşık 4 yemek kaşığı

• 2 çay kaşığı mısır nişastası
Kıtır Üst Kaplama (Crumble) İçin:
• 80 g tereyağı (eritilmiş): Yaklaşık Yarım su bardağından biraz az (5-6 yemek kaşığı)

🍎Pişirme: Fırını önceden ısıtmadan, kekinizi soğuk fırına verin ve fırını çalıştırın(Veya fırın ısınana kadar dışarıda bekletip ısınınca fırına verin). Önceden ısıtılmış 175°C fırında yaklaşık 50-55 dakika pişirin.
Apple and Crumble Cake Recipe
INGREDIENTS
For the Cake Batter:
• 115 g butter (melted): Approx. 1/2 cup (8 tablespoons)
• 180 g granulated sugar: Approx. 3/4 cup
• 2 eggs: At room temperature
• 315 g all-purpose flour: Approx. 2.5 cups
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• A pinch of salt
• 240 g buttermilk or kefir: Approx. 1 cup
• 60 g heavy cream or strained yogurt (labneh): Approx. 3 generous tablespoons
For the Apple Filling:
• 5 apples: Peeled and sliced
• 50 g sugar: Approx. 4 tablespoons
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 2 tbsp water
• 2 tsp cornstarch
For the Crumble Topping:
• 80 g butter (melted): Approx. just under 1/2 cup (5-6 tablespoons)
• 40 g sugar: Approx. 3 tablespoons
• 120 g all-purpose flour: Approx. 1 cup
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prepare the Apple Filling: Cook the apples with sugar and cinnamon until softened. Dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water, add it to the apples, cook for 1 more minute, then remove from heat and let it cool completely.
2. Prepare the Crumble Topping: In a bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, and flour together until a crumbly, coarse texture forms.
3. Prepare the Cake Batter: Whisk the melted butter and sugar together. Add the eggs and beat for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy. Stir in the kefir (or buttermilk) and heavy cream (or strained yogurt).
4. Add Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients in 2 batches; gently fold just until combined to avoid deflating the batter.
5. Assemble: Pour the cake batter into a lined baking pan. Spread the cooled apple filling evenly over the top, and finish by sprinkling the crumble topping all over.
6. Bake: Place the cake in the oven and turn it on (or let it sit while the oven heats up, then bake once it reaches temperature). Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 50–55 minutes.
7. Cool and Serve: Let it cool in the pan for 30–60 minutes after baking. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce.
Enjoy your meal!
8. Note: Cup measurements for dry ingredients like flour, sugar, and butter can slightly vary depending on how they are packed or scooped. Using a kitchen scale is always the most accurate method, but these cup/spoon measurements will give you great results for this recipe.
