We Were Nervous to Sleep Here in Our RV...

We never thought we’d spend the night in a parking lot… until now. After leaving Moab, Utah, we faced a two-day travel stretch and decided to try overnight RV parking for the very first time. From avoiding the dreaded knock to calling ahead, finding safe spots, dealing with noise, and hoping for a good night’s sleep, we’re sharing the experience. But the trip didn’t start smoothly. Not long after hitting the road, we got a trailer brake error and had to pull over multiple times to make sure everything was safe. We think southern Utah’s sand may have gotten into our 5th wheel plug, but it definitely added some stress to the drive. Eventually we made it to Centerville, Utah where we parked our RV overnight at a Bass Pro Shops parking lot. After dinner with friends, we made the dangerous mistake of going inside the store with Franky… and somehow spent more money than we would’ve at an RV resort. So how did the overnight parking experience actually go? Did we sleep well? Did we get the dreaded knock? You’ll have to watch to find out.
