Day hike on the Boston Valley Bridle and Buckeye Loop Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

This video is of another hike that I completed while travelling with Nicholas in Ohio. We visited the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and hiked the Boston Valley Bridle and Buckeye Loop Trail. This route utilized portions of several trail in the area to make a loop hike. The trail is easily accessible from the Boston Mill trailhead. At this location there is a store, a park giftshop as well as several parking areas, restrooms and several displays by the National Park Service. This area is very busy on the weekends so be prepared for some crowds during popular times-summer and holidays as well. This trail is 3.8 miles in length and having 347 feet of elevation gain. It does leave from nearby towpath along the Cuyahoga River and climbs up alongside the Ohio Turnpike before entering the woods. Bugs were not a problem, but I would spray to prevent ticks. The beginning and end of the trail are in open areas. After entering the woods, the trail is shaded until you return to the path near the end of the trail. I would recommend sunscreen and a hat. Trail signs are abundant along the path but you will need a map as this trail is not a marked one but a combination of trails organized to make a loop.
