tales of symphonia- beating meredy, garr, and farah

sorry for emulator issues. yeeeeeah... this is my first time ever doing this battle, how can you tell? i was actually totally unprepared for it. i thought i was still in an intermediate party class of battles since that's what single battles had. i didn't realize there was a jump straight to advanced class from beginner's class in the party coliseum!! i don't know who any of these characters are but this battle made me hate them. Now even though I don't know anything about these characters, i did read up a little bit about some of the information regarding this fight, such as Meredy being the healer who can use Resurrection and needs to be taken out first, that she revives after being KO'd the the first time, Garr is an archer, Farah is a melee fighter, etc but oh my GOD, was this a difficult and super annoying fight. I focused Meredy as the guide said while i had farah pecking at me the whole time, using beast, knocking me over, garr unleashing a hail of arrows on raine the whole time..... i'm sure there could've been a creative way to employ strategy for this battle but i wasn't ready for it. i just came out of trying the advanced class as kratos trying to win the last fencer, then reading that he can't get it so it wasn't even worth it in the first place, and i sold the crystal dagger by accident so i couldn't get that for him, so i was not in a good mood going into this fight, and naturally it didn't make me feel any better. I was actually yelling at farah to get KO'd already because i was so sick of all the punishment she was taking. when garr was left i fricken WAILED on him, unleashed all of my frustration on him with a hail of my own. Raine blowing him up with Photon! Kratos and Lloyd comboing him together! unison attack! YEEEEEEEEAH!!!!! the loot was really cool in this battle though. I gladly equipped the Extreme Symbol and some of the other armor. now if these were legendia characters, say senel, norma, and uh.... (that game doesn't have any archers) i would actually say thank you senel for giving me a good challenge. no i am not taking the anachronism of legendia not existing when this game was made into account.
