When You Don’t Know How This Day Will Work Out, Start With This Morning Prayer

Not knowing what today will bring can make even an ordinary morning feel uncertain. This morning prayer is for anyone beginning the day with unanswered questions, unexpected possibilities, or the quiet fear of not knowing how things will work out. Perhaps you have an important meeting, a medical appointment, a difficult conversation, or simply a day filled with situations you cannot predict. You may wish you could see the ending before taking the first step, knowing exactly what people will say, how you will feel, and whether your plans will unfold the way you hope. But no amount of preparation can give us complete control over everything that happens. In this Christian morning prayer for peace and trust in God, we bring Him the questions we cannot answer and the circumstances we cannot fully prepare for. We ask for wisdom to handle what is within our responsibility, courage to admit when we do not know something, and serenity when life moves in directions we did not expect.
