සති ගණනාවක් කොන්ක්‍රීට් වනාන්තරයක ගත කරලා ලැබුනු විවේකයේ ආයෙත් ගියා බදුල්ලේ සංචාරයකට. ඇත්තටම මේ සංචාරය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම සැළසුම් කලේ උදයංග අයියා. ඉතිං මේ සංචාරයෙන් පස්සේ සහ මේකට පස්සෙ කරපු සංචාර වලින් පස්සේ අපි තේරුම් ගත්තා බදුල්ල කියන්නේ "සොදුරු පාරාදීසයක්" කියලා. ඉතිං තේ වතු මැදින් සහ හරිත පැහැයෙන් හැඩ ගැන්විලා තිබ්බ කදු හෙල් දිගේ වැටිලා තිබ්බ සොදුරු මං මාවත් ඔස්සේ අපි ගියා කෑරගල මුදුනටම. අතර මගදි හම්බුන දිය පහර සහ කදු මුදුනට ලං වෙද්දි කඩා හැලුණු සීතල වැස්ස අපේ ගමන් මහන්සිය නැති කරන්න තරම් ආශිර්වාදයක් උනා. කොහොම නමුත් කදු මුදුනේ ඉදන් ගත කරපු දින දෙක සහ කදු මුදුනේ ඉදන් දැක්ක හිරුගේ ආගමනය සහ හිරුගේ නික්ම යාම අපේ මතක පොත් වල හැමදාටම අමතක නොවන මතකයක් විදිහිට පවතීවී. කොහොම උනත් සර්පයෙක්ගෙන් බේරුනු පස් වෙනි විතර වතාව කියලා මේ ගමන ගැන කියන්නත් පුළුවන්. මේ ඉතිං ඔයාලට අරගෙන ආවේ මේ සොදුරු මතක සහ අත්දැකීම් පිරුණු සංචාරයේ රූප රචනාවයි. ආයුබෝවන් මම දිනේෂ්. An undiscovered hidden gem in Badulla District, Keragala View Point in Thelbedda Tea Estate became our next peaceful escape. We were invited by a friend living in Badulla to explore some of the area’s lesser-known treasures. With that invitation, we set off on a journey that never disappoints,Badulla with its cool climate and endless stretches of lush greenery, always feels like a breath of fresh air. The viewpoint is accessible by motorbike, adding a bit of adventure to the journey itself. By the time we arrived, the evening sky was slowly preparing for sunset. We quickly pitched our tents and settled in to witness the magic. As the sun dipped below the mountains, the moment felt surreal birds humming softly, a cool breeze brushing past, and the sky painted in vibrant colours. Holding a warm cup of tea in that setting made the experience truly unforgettable. After enjoying the calm of dusk, we prepared a simple dinner that somehow tasted extraordinary in the middle of nature. The next morning brought a whole new kind of beauty. A breathtaking 360° view of mountain ranges, gentle sunrays peeking through, and a misty atmosphere made it almost impossible to leave. We spent time walking around, soaking in every bit of nature an experience that truly felt next level. Though it was hard to say goodbye, our journey through Badulla wasn’t over yet. On our way, we made sure to stop for a refreshing dip in a river recharging ourselves for the adventures ahead. All of this and more is captured in the video.
