Life as an Egyptian Pyramid Builder

Forget what the movies told you. The men who built the Great Pyramid weren't slaves. They were paid, mostly in bread and beer. This is life as a pyramid builder in 2560 BC: a whole city built for the workers, gangs with names like "Friends of Khufu", a clever trick with wet sand, and a cemetery that shows someone was setting their broken bones. A dramatised story, based on archaeological evidence. Life Back Then: history, one terrible day at a time. Subscribe for a new life every week. #history #egypt #pyramids #ancientegypt
