Super Easy T-Shirt Refashion

Let’s transform a simple T-shirt into a stylish, designed top using the easiest method! 🥰 Start by measuring 12 cm down from both corners of the T-shirt neckline and mark the points. Draw a horizontal line between them. Then, right after the ribbed neckline, draw a vertical line and connect the two lines together. Slightly round off the sharp corner, then cut the neckline following the steps shown in the video. Remember to use a heat-erasable pen or tailor’s chalk when marking the T-shirt. 👚✍️ Measure 55 cm down from the shoulder corner and draw a line. Then measure another 3 cm down from this line, draw a second line, and cut along it. ✂️ At this stage, you can finish the neckline and bottom edge with an overlock stitch, neatly fold and sew the edges inward, or simply leave them raw like I did. The choice is completely up to you. Take the 3 cm wide strip and stretch it until it rolls into a tube. Then cut a piece of fabric 5 cm wide and as long as the center of the T-shirt. Sew the rolled strip to it using a sewing machine or a needle and thread. It’s better to make this strip slightly narrower toward the neckline. 🧵🪡 Pass the rolled strip through this opening, gather the center of the T-shirt, and tie it into a knot. 🎀 Finally, thread an elastic through the sleeve openings as shown in the video.
