They have mega stores in Shinjuku and Shibuya, as well as smaller stores located near most major train stations in Tokyo. I visited Shinjuku, where Disk Union has five sites. I only visited three stores and I spent close to four hours there. What follows is an overview; a snapshot. Certainly not an extensive profile, but enough genres to give the viewer a sense of the magnitude of one music retailer in Tokyo. 0:00 Intro 0:35 Store #1 - 7 Floors 1:11 Punk / Hardcore 2:22 Latin / Brazil / Reggae / World Music 3:48 Progressive Rock and British Folk Music 5:07 Store #2 - 4 Floors 9:17 Store #3 - single floor #diskunion #shinjuku #tokyo #recordstores #vinylrecords
